Africa was never behind. Africa was disconnected

DIGITAL TOOLS FOR PEOPLE AND ORGANISATIONS

Afriz is a platform, connecting Africa’s brands, talent and experiences to the world through evidence‑led impact and curated experiences.

Rooted in Ubuntu, the Southern African philosophy that a person exists through other people, Afriz is built on regeneration and on a single discipline shaped by intensive care: prevention over cure.

In the ICU, prevention is not a slogan; it’s a discipline. You watch early signals, you act early, and you build systems that hold under pressure. That mindset shaped my career from hands‑on clinical practice to healthcare executive roles across for over two decades.

That discipline applies to an individual, a workforce, a supply chain, a continent, and a world. Protecting capacity before it breaks, and proving it when a customer asks.

Everything Afriz builds grows on one structure: regeneration is the trunk. Each venture is a branch. The outcome every branch must produce and be able to name is hope. I build tools that help people and organisations because when capacity collapses, everything else (performance, sustainability, leadership, outcomes) follows.

Afriz applies that same discipline to impact and enterprise, guided by Ubuntu: people first, shared value, and accountability that strengthens communities and organisations.

This is how we connect Africa to the world: by pairing excellence with trust and purpose with proof. We bring together people, proof, and presence so African excellence is seen, trusted, and chosen globally.

 — Chipo Charidza, Founder of Afriz

Afriz is built as a platform with connected departments:

  • Afriz Regeneration: Practical Tools to Build Regenerative Capacity.

Sustainability - The 'S' in ESG is evidenced.

The social pillar is where most organisations are weakest and where scrutiny is moving fastest. We help you evidence what you actually do for your people, in a form a board, a client or a tender can act on.

What changes? Clarity for your board. Confidence when a client or investor asks. And a consistent record that turns wellbeing from something you assert into something you can show.

  • Afriz Experiences & Events: curated events and experiences that showcase African excellence globally.

Outcomes: stronger positioning, deeper partnerships, and experiences rooted in purpose and quality.

  • Afriz Connect (emerging): partnerships that amplify African brands and talent to global markets through storytelling and trusted networks. Summits.

I also completed a Diploma in Events Management for Marketing & Communications (CIM-accredited) at Events Academy and the "Unveiling the World of Luxury Management" executive education programme at HEC Paris, because how we position excellence internationally matters.

Our approach: Ubuntu + Prevention over Cure

Sustainability is not a department

It starts with one person looking after themselves. Then an employee. Then an employer caring for their employees. Then organisations caring for the environment they operate in. And finally, it becomes a global responsibility we all carry.

We build this way because of Ubuntu. I am because we are. Most tools in this space treat a person and an organisation as separate markets. We do not, because we were not raised to see them that way.

Afriz Impact (S in ESG) is evidenced.

Most organisations can evidence the E and the G. The social pillar is where it falls apart and where scrutiny is moving fastest.

We build the impact trail: a baseline, defined measures, a dated record, and clear boundaries on what may be claimed publicly. Not a snapshot for a report, but a trail you can follow and show.

These two tools are the first two rungs. The same six ideas, at two levels.

About our sustainability tools for organisations and individuals

When your board asks what the wellbeing spend achieves.

Most organisations cannot answer. The money is spent, the intention is real, and when a client, an investor or a tender asks what difference it makes, there is nothing to show.

The data usually exists. What is missing is someone accountable for watching it and authorised to act when it moves.

When people hold, organisations also hold.

Digital tools to support impact at individual and organisational levels:

Protecting capacity before it breaks, and proving it when a customer asks.

Our tools are built to reduce admin pressure and increase clarity so the work becomes easier to sustain and easier to evidence.

TOOL ONE

The Wellbeing Baseline Diagnostic for organisations

Who it is for: SMEs and teams being asked harder questions about workforce wellbeing and the social side of ESG by clients, tenders, investors or their own board. Typically organisations of twenty to two hundred and fifty people, where the honest answer to "how are we doing on this" is that nobody knows.

What it does

Scores your organisation across six areas: governance and accountability, data and evidence, prevention and early intervention, work design, manager capability and voice, and disclosure readiness.

Returns a result out of one hundred, a maturity band, and your three lowest scoring areas with an explanation of what each low score signals.

What you get: A dated baseline you can keep and repeat.

A clear view of which three areas to work on first, rather than six at once.

A starting point for governance conversations: who owns this, what we measure, and what we can safely say publicly.

Run it again in twelve months, and the difference between the two scores is a direction of travel which is what a board, a client or a tender response can actually stand on.

How it works: Twenty-four statements, about twenty minutes, scored by you. Opens in any browser on any device. Nothing to install, no account, and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

£197. One payment. A fourteen-day refund if it is not useful.

What it is not: Not a certification, an accreditation, an audit or an independent verification. Your result is self-assessed and should be described that way in anything you publish. Not legal or regulatory advice.

TOOL TWO

The Working Life Baseline for Individuals

Who it is for: Professionals and leaders whose working life has quietly expanded to fill whatever space was available, and who want to know where it is costing them most.

What it does: Scores how you have organised your working life across six areas: boundaries and workload, recovery and rest, environment and setup, support and speaking up, direction and development, and noticing early.

Returns a result out of one hundred, a band from Unmanaged to Sustained, and names the three areas where a change would return the most.

What you get: An honest picture of where your working life currently sits.

One place to start, rather than six things to fix.

A baseline you can take again in twelve months to see whether anything actually changed.

How it works: Twenty-four statements, about fifteen minutes. Opens in any browser on any device. Nothing you enter leaves your own device.

£29. One payment. A fourteen-day refund if it is not useful.

What it is not:

This looks at habits and practices in how you organise your working life. It is not a health, medical or psychological assessment, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not clinical advice.

If you are struggling with your health or your mental health, please speak to your GP, your occupational health service, or another qualified professional.

Keep this block above the buy button, not below it.

FREE TOOL:

The two-minute capacity check is free for anyone (individuals & organisations): For anyone who wants to start with a simple first step with no commitment.
What it helps you do: get clarity fast, begin tracking what matters, and build momentum toward a more consistent evidence trail.

Who it is for: Anyone who wants a first look before committing to anything.

What it does: Six questions, one from each of the six areas. Gives you an indicative score and names the single area most worth your attention.

Being straight about it: Six Questions is a direction, not a diagnosis. One question cannot properly assess an area, and a single low answer can pull the whole score down. It is enough to tell you whether something needs attention. It is not enough to tell you what to do about it.

How it works: About two minutes. No email needed, no account, nothing stored.
